Kuramathi Island in the Indian Ocean

The Kuramathi Island in the small Maldivian archipelago of Rasdhoo Atoll is a tropical paradise measuring just 1.8 km (approx. 1 mile) in length and flaunting superb white sandy beaches. A 20-minute flight by seaplane or a 90-minute expedition by speedboat will take you from the Male International Airport to the remote island with its lush vegetation and clear azure waters.

There are 290 villas on the island, scattered among beautiful gardens and lovely beaches. Many of them are fully refurbished or newly-built, and they all perfectly integrate into the landscape. You can choose between Garden Villas, Beach Villas with outdoor rainfall showers and four-poster king-sized beds, Deluxe Beach Villas located nearer the Ocean, and Water Villas which await their guests on stilts over the lagoon.

The remote luxury resort is a wonderful realm of tranquility, but at night the six local bars start to vibrate with live music and moonlit discos. Fine drinks and delicious cocktails always make your fun time here even more enjoyable. Make sure you don’t miss the photos below for a glimpse at the luxe Kuramathi Island resort.
